Polygon Labs has joined Warner Music Group (WMG), which recently announced its Web3 Music Accelerator program. The initiative aims to nurture innovation at the intersection of Web3 and music.
MITH is a fan engagement platform enabling artists to unlock data-driven insights while owning first-party fan data. The Muus Collective is building fashion-centric mobile games, entertainment, and digital collectibles.
The recipients gain endorsements, advising, networking opportunities, and marketing support from Polygon and WMG. They were chosen from over 120 applicants based on criteria like decentralized systems and interactive fan experiences.
According to Polygon Labs’ head of business development, Brian Trunzo, the projects show how Web3 is moving toward mainstream adoption. WMG’s Jilian Rothman said meaningful artist-fan connections are central to WMG’s Web3 mission.
This accelerator builds on WMG’s existing Web3 activity. In December 2022, it partnered with Polygon and LGND on a Web3 music platform. It also collaborates with Mastercard on a similar accelerator program.
