China Mobile Hong Kong (CMHK), a leading mobile carrier, has unveiled its first telecom-backed NFT marketplace called LinkNFT, which has also coincided with its MyLink lifestyle app surpassing 7 million users.
According to the launch report, LinkNFT provides NFT creation, trading and circulation services to enterprises through blockchain protocols like Ethereum. It also uses cross-chain interoperability standards for seamless asset transfers between different web3 networks.
In addition, Hong Kong residents can conveniently access their digital assets via MyLink’s exclusive crypto wallet “LinKey.”, which bridges web3 assets like OpenSea’s Ethereum NFTs with everyday apps.
Also ,the mobile carrier has collaborated with over 30 entities to mint commemorative and music NFTs on LinkNFT. This includes 20 NFTs from MyLink’s own ArLink series as well as 15 associated with music platforms like Migu. CMHK expects to mint over 500,000 NFTs in tota
Furthermore, MyLink’s 3D metaverse now enables residents to explore a virtual Hong Kong, create customizable digital homes and convert their metaverse IDs into unique NFTs to foster an inclusive web3 community.
“The new venture will allow enterprises to offer novel consumer rights through various NFTs while users enjoy collectible and circulation value.,” said Tan Hui, MyLink’s Executive Director.
