Immutable and Endless Clouds have forged an alliance to launch blockchain-powered games in 2024.
Sydney, Australia-based Immutable has been making many such announcements lately. It makes its own games such as Gods Unchained and it also operates the Immutable’s zkEVM blockchain powered by Polygon technology.
Endless Clouds is a mobile gaming studio that plans to introduce two upcoming titles, Treeverse and Capsule Heroes, onto the Immutable zkEVM chain with the debut of its mainnet in early 2024.
Treeverse is an immersive MMORPG (Massively multiplayer online role-playing game) set in the enchanting city of Lorwick. It promises players a multifaceted experience, combining intense battles, resource gathering, and crafting in a detailed and expansive world.
On the other hand, Capsule Heroes stands as a groundbreaking player-versus-player brawler, inviting gamers to join forces in various game modes, including Occupy, Team Deathmatch, and Survival.
Both titles are poised for initial releases in open alpha and beta formats, embracing community engagement and feedback to shape their final versions. The partnership leverages the strengths of Immutable’s zkEVM technology, providing a robust foundation for secure and transparent gaming experiences.
Endless Clouds, led by founder Loopify (@Loopifyyy) and backed by prominent funds like Animoca Brands, Skyvision Capital, and Momentum 6, has already made waves in the Web3 gaming space, amassing over $100 million in NFT trading volume.
Loopify said in a statement, “We confidently selected Immutable to be the home of both titles, knowing the seamless and efficient experience our community will encounter when building on Immutable’s zkEVM technology.”
Robbie Ferguson, Immutable president, said in a statement, “Treeverse and Capsule Heroes are highly anticipated titles, and we’re confident that their decision to leverage Immutable’s platform will elevate the gamer experience across the board.”
The collaboration extends to the integration of Immutable Passport, a single sign-on solution designed to streamline the onboarding process for new players in blockchain gaming. This move aligns with Immutable’s commitment to creating a seamless experience for both players and developers.
Immutable’s gaming solutions, coupled with Endless Clouds’ community support, position Treeverse and Capsule Heroes to drive further adoption of blockchain gaming in 2024. The titles are poised to join Immutable’s extensive ecosystem, comprising over 200 Web3 games.
Immutable was founded in 2018 and it has more than 250 people. Its funding comes from Temasek, Tencent, Coinbase, Bitkraft Ventures, and King River Capital. Players can register for the Endless Cloud Substack here.
