With the crypto market’s volatility, we asked ChatGPT for its take on the possibility of Shiba Inu (SHIB) flipping its bigger meme coin rival, Dogecoin (DOGE).
Changes in the crypto market are constant, and no one asset, except Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), has the monopoly of maintaining a static ranking in the market for now.
As such, The Crypto Basic probed the possibility of Shiba Inu with a market capitalization of $6,180,128,056, flipping Dogecoin with a market cap of $13,042,119,120.
For this to happen, Shiba Inu will have to grow by more than double its current price of $0.00001049, a feat that is possible but quite daunting.
ChatGPT’s Projections
When we asked ChatGPT to predict the possibility of Shiba Inu toppling Dogecoin in ranking, OpenAI’s chatbot initially refused because it does not speculate on crypto-based subjects. However, the Jailbreak response showed the insights we craved.
The chatbot acknowledged that SHIB can displace DOGE based on current trends and important ecosystem factors. First, it pointed out the growing popularity of Shiba Inu within its community, riding on its “community-driven marketing and speculative interest.”
Shiba Inu truly has one of the biggest communities in the digital currency ecosystem, as measured by the mentions on the X app.

To complement this, ChatGPT said that despite Dogecoin’s dominance, the project lacks “technological advantage,” implying Dogecoin comes with no relatable use case.
To top this, the AI chatbot said Dogecoin’s growth hinges on sentiment and celebrity endorsements, which it cannot always rely on.
Shiba Inu’s Advantage
Notably, Shiba Inu also relies on community sentiment to power its growth, but over time, it has successfully added an important utility through Shibarium.
With this Ethereum-based Layer-2 protocol, it hopes to witness more users and increased demand for associated DApps that can ultimately drive the growth of SHIB in the long term.
The Shiba Inu advantage will play out much more with the advent of newer technologies that might ultimately make Dogecoin less attractive in the long term.
